1. Who We Are
DHARMA operates dharmawears.co. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary.
2. Data We Collect
When you join our waitlist: your email address and name (optional). When you place an order: your name, email, shipping address, and payment details (processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number). When you visit our site: standard analytics data such as pages visited and browser type, collected via anonymised tools.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your email is used to notify you when Collection I opens, to send order confirmations and shipping updates, and to communicate about your purchase. We do not send marketing emails without your consent. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third Parties
We use Stripe for payment processing (their privacy policy applies to payment data). We may use email delivery services (such as Resend or Klaviyo) solely to deliver transactional emails to you. These services are bound by data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
We retain order data for 7 years as required by UK tax law. Waitlist data is retained until Collection I closes, after which it is deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@dharmawears.co.
6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Our site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
